For generations, the Royal Canadian Legion has been much more than a building. It has been a place where veterans find support, families gather, friendships are built, and our community comes together.
At Chapelhow Legion, we are proud to honour and support Canada's veterans while opening our doors to everyone in the community. We also proudly support our local cadet programs, helping encourage and inspire the next generation of young leaders and future members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Supporting youth today helps strengthen the values of service, leadership, respect, and community for tomorrow.
Throughout the year we host community meals, live entertainment, fundraising events, remembrance ceremonies, celebrations, and affordable activities that bring people of all ages together. We provide a welcoming place where neighbours become friends, where volunteers make a difference, and where everyone is welcome.
Like many community organizations, our building is aging. One of our most urgent needs is replacing our roof. While it may not be the most visible improvement, it is one of the most important. A safe, reliable roof protects our building, our members, our visitors, and the many programs and community events that take place inside.
Every dollar raised will help preserve this important gathering place so that future generations can continue to honour our veterans, support our cadets, strengthen our community, and keep the Legion's mission alive.

The photos shown are some of the current damage. Over time, exposure to Alberta's weather has caused the roof to deteriorate. If these repairs are delayed, the damage can continue to spread, leading to leaks, higher repair costs, and potential damage to the building itself.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming space for our members and the entire community, but we can't do it alone.
